Functions and Indications
It is a heat-clearing agent with the functions of clearing heat from the internal organs, purging excess liver and gallbladder fire, and clearing damp-heat from the liver meridian. It is mainly used to treat excess liver and gallbladder fire syndromes, such as headache, red eyes, flank pain, and bitter taste in the mouth; it is also suitable for herpes zoster and skin sores.
Ingredients
Longdancao (Gentian root), Chaihu (Bupleurum root), Zexie (Alisma rhizome), Shengdihuang (Rehmannia root), Huangqin (Scutellaria root), Zhizi (Gardenia fruit), Tongcao (Tetrapanax papyriferus pith), Cheqianzi (Plantago seed, stir-fried with salt), Danggui (Angelica sinensis root, stir-fried with wine), Gancao (Licorice root, stir-fried with honey).
[Reminder] Longdan Xiegan Wan containing "Guan Mutong" (Aristolochia manshuriensis stem) may cause kidney damage. This product does not contain "Guan Mutong".
Specification
200 tablets, 200 mg per tablet.
Dosage and Administration
Oral, 5 tablets once, 2-3 times a day. Or as directed by a physician.
Precautions
Use with caution in pregnant women, the elderly, the frail, and those with loose stools.
Avoid spicy and irritating foods.
Do not take nourishing traditional Chinese medicine preparations simultaneously with this medicine.
Patients with severe chronic diseases such as hypertension, arrhythmia, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and those currently receiving other treatments should take this medicine under the guidance of a physician.
If symptoms do not improve after three days of taking the medicine, or if other severe symptoms occur, discontinue the medicine and seek medical attention.
